The T-L.E.A.R.N. program is best suited for students who have spent the majority of their undergraduate career at a state college prior to transferring to UCF. This program is not intended for high school students entering UCF with an A.A. degree. F-L.E.A.R.N. is the appropriate program for students entering UCF from high school.<\/p>\n<p>T-L.E.A.R.N. is a learning community established at UCF in 2016 that focuses on students\u2019 academic success.<\/p>\n<p>Students in this program will:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Experience<\/strong> a small learning community at a large research university.\u00a0Coming to the second largest university in the nation can be a bit daunting to a transfer student. We provide opportunities for our T-L.E.A.R.N. students to build one-on-one relationships with faculty, staff, and other students on campus.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Receive<\/strong> priority course registration and a scholarship.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enroll<\/strong> in a Fall and Spring 0 credit seminar which will guide you to identify and secure research experiences, as well as key undergraduate research skills<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Engage<\/strong> in research with a faculty mentor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Participate<\/strong> in academic, social, and service activities through UCF-sponsored events to build and strengthen their network of peers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Acquire<\/strong> skills that will make them qualified and competitive to apply to upper-level undergraduate research programs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>All majors are invited to apply!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">Applications will open in the spring for Fall 2027 program admission.<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This program is run by the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.our.ucf.edu\/\">Office of Undergraduate Research<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>T-L.E.A.R.N. is for students transferring to UCF from a state, or community, college.
