Organic Chemistry Researcher - Chemistry


We are looking for a talented undergraduate researcher. Our project includes development of new catalysts and novel synthetic methods. The researcher will work with Ph.D. graduate students and post-doctoral fellow. Due to the nature of organic chemistry reactions, students need some degree of commitment, which may take up more than 10 hours in some cases. Although everyone is welcome, this position is for students who are truly interested in organic chemistry and planning to go to graduate school in chemistry, not to medical/dental school.

Student Responsibilities

- Synthesis of organic compounds and catalysts under guidance of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, or research advisor. - Learning how to use instruments which need to analyze organic compounds . - Present project progress in biweekly group meeting
