POWER Lab Volunteer Research Assistants - School of Kinesiology and Physical Therapy

The Physiology of Work and Exercise Response Lab (POWER Lab) is hiring volunteer research assistants for upcoming research studies (2024 – 2025 academic year). These are unpaid positions requiring approximately 8 hours per week of time commitment. The research studies are focused on body composition, nutritional interventions, cellular health, and more.

Student Requirements

Requirements for position: · Currently enrolled undergraduate or masters student at UCF. · Availability early in the morning (approx. 6 – 11am) at least two days during the week. · Previous experience with or ability to quickly learn: o Microsoft Office o Statistical analyses o Time management · Reliable transportation to and from UCF’s main campus. · CPR/AED Certified or the ability to gain certification upon hire.
