This NASA funded project seeks to eliminate the use of fossil fuels and harmful emissions in aviation.  We will be investigating the risk and compliance implications of utilizing ammonia (NH3) as an aviation fuel. This work will focus on the implications of the introduction of new fuels into public aviation infrastructure. This project is a large multidisciplinary effort involving researchers at UCF (MAE, FSI, and EH&S), Purdue, GE, Boeing, Georgia Tech, Southwest Research Institute, and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.  Work will involve strong collaboration with these partners.
