We develop novel photonic devices, with a strong emphasis on the design and development of high throughput, large scale, and low-cost fabrication techniques.<\/p>\n<p>The prospective student will help investigate the application of these nanoarchitectures to develop novel point-of-care diagnoses and therapeutic techniques. The nanosensors offer an ideal platform for fast, label-free, low-cost, and noninvasive detection of several chemical species and biomarkers such as neurotransmitters, viruses, or antibodies.<\/p>\n<p>This is NOT a &#8220;clean-glassware&#8221; kind of internship.
