Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Frontier Set
We are part of the Frontier Set, a select group of high-performing, high-potential colleges and universities, state systems, and supporting organizations that are committed to increasing student success and erasing attainment gaps. We are engaged in sharing with and learning from this network of innovators so that we can all go further, faster—and eventually share our combined learnings with the broader postsecondary education system.
Frontier Set members share their promising practices (and the progress indicators that support them) so that others inside the network can learn from them, adapt them, and continue to improve and accelerate transformation. This progress is supported by building strengths and filling gaps with targeted technical assistance, so that members’ efforts to ensure all students succeed are accelerated.
By capturing and sharing how the Frontier Set is improving student success and beginning to erase attainment gaps, members generate more big ideas and accelerate transformation. The Frontier Set is building a body of knowledge that will lead the way for others, transforming how institutions operate and positively impacting the lives of thousands of students nationally.
