UIA Completion Grant

UCF is engaged in a $4 million initiative, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Great Lakes Foundation, to provide microgrants of $1000 or less to students in their final year of college with remaining financial need that prohibits their forward progress to degree. Since fall 2017, this initiative has provided support for approximately 150 students per semester, helping them reach the finish line and earn a UCF degree. We and our partner UIA campuses are implementing parallel programs across the country and studying the impact of these completion grants on student graduation.
