2025 REU Welcome Event:
This year, the REU Welcome Event was held in the Live Oak Event Center to welcome our 73 visiting students. From 49 different home institutions, this REU cycle is our largest yet, with applicants coming as far as 2,800+ miles away! Various supporters of the REU program, ranging from the Recreation and Wellness Center to the Office of Research were present to highlight the importance of these programs for undergraduates in their pursuit of industry or academia.
