Students

At UCF, students who have earned less than 12 hours of college credit AFTER graduating from high school are considered Freshmen (First Time In College/FTICs). The amount of college credit earned through AP/IB/Dual Enrollment does not count towards classification as an FTIC or transfer student.

At UCF, students are admitted as transfer students if they have earned 12 or more semester hours AFTER graduating from high school. If you have earned less than 12 semester hours, you will be classified as a freshman.

Any student previously or presently enrolled and attending UCF courses; or who has previously earned a baccalaureate degree at UCF and is currently pursuing a 2^nd bachelor’s degree.
