Erika Staiger currently serves as the Coordinator for Supplemental Instruction

Before coming to SARC, Erika served in a variety of administrative and teaching roles at the University of South Florida. Most recently, she was the Coordinator of the USF Writing Studio, where she managed and trained undergraduate, graduate, and professional writing tutors. Prior to that, she worked as a writing tutor and taught courses in English Composition, Creative Writing, and Professional Writing. Throughout all her roles, Erika has always been passionate about helping students succeed in college and is grateful for the opportunity to continue to make a difference in the lives of students.

When she is not at work, Erika enjoys reading, going to theme parks, and writing fiction. Her short stories and essays have appeared in various literary publications including Permafrost, Black Fox Literary Magazine, and in the print anthology What Doesn’t Kill You: An Anthology of YA Short Fiction.
