
The Pre-Graduate School Knights (PGK) program empowers students to customize their educational journey, enhancing their competitiveness as graduate school applicants. Participants can choose ten assignments from a diverse selection, allowing them to work at their own pace over a two-semester period.
Before starting the application process, please ensure you meet ALL of the following eligibility criteria:
- Part-time or full-time Undergraduate Student at the University of Central Florida
- In good academic standing
- Must have at least two semesters left
- Must be certain in pursuing graduate school
- Must be committed to completing the course within the 2 given semesters (failure to comply will risk removal from the course and no awarding of the Certificate of Completion and PGK cord for graduation)
- Pre-Graduate School Knights Certificate of Completion
- Pre-Graduate Scholar Graduation Cord (received the semester you are graduating)
- Designation as an AAP Scholar within Academic Advancement Programs
- Invitation to Participate in Selective AAP Programs only open to AAP Scholars and selective partners
- Priority registration to participate in the Graduate School Preparation Month events
- Priority registration to participate in Graduate School Fairs (visits by recruiters from across the country)
This is a self-directed program that allows you to select the assignments you need to complete in order to become a stronger candidate for graduate school. You will complete 10 assignments that you choose in order to complete the program. You will have 2 semesters to complete the 10 assignments.
