
The Pre-Health Scholars program recognizes actively engaged and academically successful students interested in pursuing a health professional program. This network of peers represents AAP students who BEAM and demonstrate promise for continuing to make a notable impact after graduation in their intended professional school program.

Program Eligibility Criteria
Before starting the application process, please ensure you meet ALL of the following eligibility criteria:
- Part-time or full-time undergraduate student at UCF
- In good academic standing with UCF
- Have a minimum UCF GPA of 3.25
- Must be at least Sophomore standing (30 credit hours)
- Must be certain in pursuing a health professional program
- Must be committed to completing the course
Program Benefits
- AAP Pre-Health Scholars Program Certificate of Completion
- AAP Pre-Health Scholars Graduation Cord
- Designation as an AAP Scholar within Academic Advancement Programs
- Recognition on the AAP website and social media platforms
- Invitation to participate in selective AAP programs
Program Expectations
- Meet with an AAP Peer Mentor
- Attend 3 unique AAP workshops or events
- Complete the AAP Action Plan
- Complete an AAP Mock Interview
- Complete a personal statement based on your intended program
- Demonstrate community involvement in a related field
