Students completing the Major Exploration Program will
receive personalized assistance based on their specific goals and needs.
Students are provided with opportunities to participate in activities in which
they are taught how to evaluation and use the results of academic and
occupational assessments in selecting a major. With the assistance of their
assigned KMETC advisor and coach, students will develop a personal action plan to
include scheduled appointments, attending exploration fairs and workshops,
completing various self-assessments and connections with campus resources.
Initial major exploration appointments will not include
course schedule planning. A separate schedule planning appointment will be
arranged once students have identified areas of study.
