The Shining Knights Alumni Awards honor our university’s most keen supporters and friends. UCF Alumni presents six distinct awards annually during Homecoming Week.
We are calling upon UCF Faculty and Staff to submit nominations for the Distinguished Student Award.
The Distinguished Student Award is given to a currently enrolled Knight who is dedicated to maintaining a lifelong relationship with UCF, demonstrates outstanding academic achievement, inspires leadership within their co-curricular activities and positively impacts the UCF community. Nominees must be enrolled for the Fall 2022 semester.

This annual event is an opportunity for our most devoted alumni and friends of UCF to be recognized for their contributions and support of the university. The event highlights six major awards of UCF Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving: Distinguished Alumni Award, John C. and Martha Hitt Honorary Alumni Award, Young Alumni Award, Distinguished Student Award, Champion’s Award and the Michelle Akers Award. The Shining Knights Alumni Awards is held during Homecoming week and features an elegant reception and formal awards program.
