We are CUGS & SLAS: Know More, Do More, Be More

Dear Colleagues,
The College of Undergraduate Studies (CUGS) and the Division of Student Learning and Academic Success (SLAS) have made extraordinary efforts to support students and help them to advance their personal and academic success this past year. We created the CUGS and SLAS Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding team members, programs, and partnerships within the college and division. The award categories are:
- ABC – Above, Beyond, and Consistent Award
- Champion of Student Success (A&P & Faculty)
- Champion of Student Success (USPS)
- Champion of Student Success (OPS)
- Charge On’ Award
- Diversity and Inclusion Award
- Graduate Student of the Year
- Partnership Award
- Undergraduate Student of the Year
Vice Provost’s Team Innovation Award
Descriptions of the awards and nomination criteria are in the CUGS and SLAS Excellence Awards packet. Use the award application form to submit nominations no later than Friday, March 18.
Selected award winners will be recognized at the second annual CUGS and SLAS Staff Awards Recognition Celebration that will take place during the CUGS and SLAS conference on April 21.
We will also present Years of Service awards to team members with milestone anniversaries. The awards packet outlines the recognition criteria.
