The L.E.A.R.N. program has two different cohorts. You must apply to the program for which you are eligible in order to be considered.

Eligibility

The F-LEARN program was founded in 2011 and is particularly for First Time in College (FTIC) students entering the University of Central Florida (UCF) in the summer or fall semesters after high school.

Dual enrollment students, even with an AA may apply to F-LEARN.

The T-LEARN program was founded in 2016 and is for transfer students entering UCF in the summer or fall semesters.

Students who apply to this program should be finishing an Associate of Arts degree from a state college and applying to UCF.

Research!

 

Apprenticeship with a Graduate Research Mentor in a research space at UCF. Research experience is during the Spring semester, 12 weeks for 3 hours each week)

Students will find a Faculty Mentor and begin research for 10-15 hours/week starting in late Fall and continuing through the Spring semester.
