Resource Description
Academic Advancement Programs (AAP) prepares UCF students to pursue advanced degrees. AAP works in collaboration with faculty, staff, local, and national partners to provide a range of graduate school preparation programs and services. Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of initiatives designed to increase their awareness and knowledge of the graduate school application process, graduate school funding, summer research programs, and fellowship opportunities.
Presentation Descriptions
AAP facilitates short presentations on the benefits of and pathways to graduate education. Request a presentation for your course or club!
- 5 minutes: brief introduction to graduate education and AAP resources
- 10 minutes: brief introduction, quick overview of AAP programs and opportunities
- 15 minutes: more detailed introduction and overview, with time for questions
- 20 minutes: more detailed introduction and overview, student representative's personal story, with time for questions
