Scholarships and Fellowships
Many fellowship opportunities exist for graduate students, and these may be at all levels from departmental and college fellowships to university-wide fellowships. A list of university-wide fellowships can be found in the UCF Graduate Fellowships Page.
The UCF Graduate McNair Fellowship is a competitive fellowship that is offered to the most outstanding undergraduate McNair scholars who are accepted into UCF graduate programs. This fellowship award is over $20,000 for a master’s student and more than $35,000 for a doctoral student.
The McKnight Doctoral Fellowship Program is designed to address the under-representation of African American faculty at colleges and universities in Florida by increasing the pool of African American citizens qualified with Ph.D. degrees to teach at the college and university levels.
National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP):
The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) provides three years of financial support for beginning graduate study leading to a research-based degree in biological sciences, computer sciences, chemistry, engineering, geosciences, information science, social sciences, life sciences, mathematics, psychology, physics & astronomy, or STEM Education.
