The L.E.A.R.N. community component is built on a variety of experiences together. All students in the program will attend a one-day orientation before classes begin to meet their classmates and mentors and the peers. Additionally, students will participate in team building exercises at UCF’s Recreation and Wellness Center. 

 Social Engagement

Throughout the semester, students will attend several community events scheduled by the program staff. Many of these events are organized on-campus to build the L.E.A.R.N. team into the greater UCF community. Some past events have been Family Weekend, Research Presentations, and the Knights Give Back Community Service Event.
