The T-L.E.A.R.N. community component is built on a variety of experiences together. All students in the program will attend a two half-day welcome meetings the Sunday before classes begin and the Sunday after classes begin to meet the rest of the cohort and the peerknights working with them throughout the year. During these welcome meetings, they will learn more about the program, participate in team building exercises, and a low elements course at UCF.

Throughout the semester, students will attend 6 academic and social events, and at least 1 community service event pre-scheduled through the program staff. Many of these events are organized on-campus to build the T-L.E.A.R.N. team into the greater UCF community. Some past events have been the Family Weekend Tailgate, Research Presentations, and the Knights Give Back Community Service Event.
