Registration and payment are simple and easy. Go to academicsuccess.ucf.edu/utc/actresidual/  and thoroughly read through the information before completing the registration procedures. Students must be eligible to take the ACT On-Campus Test prior to test registration and payment. Registration and payment must be completed at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled test date.

The ACT On-Campus Test cost is $120.00 per student/per test. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The tests are essentially the same but have different policies and procedures. The most significant difference is that scores from the ACT On-Campus Test can only be used at UCF.

Yes, students taking the ACT On-Campus Test at UCF are subject to the following restrictions:

ACT On-Campus Test is limited to students who are enrolled, have been admitted, or are applying to UCF and cannot take the ACT on a national test date because the date does not meet UCF admissions deadlines. Students who do not intend to attend UCF are not eligible to take the ACT On-Campus Test at this location.

The ACT On-Campus Test (formerly known as the Residual) is an alternative to the national ACT test that enables colleges to proctor and self-score an ACT test form on their campus. Scores from the ACT On-Campus Test taken at the University of Central Florida (UCF) can only be used at this institution.
