Employer Information Sessions
Brand your organization on campus by showcasing your company’s culture and educating students about available internship opportunities. Requests should be scheduled through Handshake. You can also connect with your faculty liaison for assistance.
UCF Knight Shadow Program
Sign up to connect with students for a one-day job shadowing experience. This program allows students to gain industry and career exposure from employers who love what they do! The program is offered once a semester, during the winter, spring, and summer breaks. For more information visit the site and contact knightshadow@ucf.edu.
Instagram Takeovers and Instagram Features
Takeover Experiential Learning’s Instagram account for a day or have your organization featured on our Instagram account. This is a fun and innovative way to engage our students and give them a behind the scenes look into your organization.
Workshops & Presentations
Present on topics such as finding an internship, professional dress, interview techniques, and keys to a successful resume, and more. To sign up to present a workshop, please contact Lashay Vazquez at Lashay.Vazquez@ucf.edu.
Tabling
Mingle with students in a high traffic area around campus to promote your organization and opportunities. You can also connect with your faculty liaison for assistance.
Coffee Chats
Meet with students, informally over a cup of coffee. This is an opportunity to provide advice to students looking for internships and information about your organization and/or industry. Organizations supply the coffee.
Site Visits/Career Treks
Provide students with insight into your organization and culture by hosting a site visit/trek to your campus. You can connect with your faculty liaison for assistance.
Connect With Specific Departments or Student Organizations
Meet with faculty/staff and student groups relevant to your recruiting needs. Experiential Learning staff can help make an introduction for you. Requests for involvement are granted at the discretion of the faculty/staff or student group.
Connect on Handshake
Search for students with public profiles. With this feature, you can invite students to your events or highlight a job to them! You can search based on their resume, skills and areas of interest. A personal email from a company is a great way to increase visibility with students. For more help, visit the Handshake Help Center for Employers.
Spread The Word
Promote your recruitment of UCF students through social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn by using #RecruitAKnight and mentioning UCF Experiential Learning. Stay up to date on all the Experiential Learning events and services, turn on the notifications section for our accounts so you can be notified of recent post.
