I am excited and proud to be a member of UCF’s first team of Academic Advocates. I was inspired to go into the field of higher education after being an Orientation Leader during my undergraduate years at UCF. In that role, discovered my love for working with college students and helping them acclimate to college life. My goal as an advocate is to make all students feel welcome, safe, and empowered to reach their goals.
I graduated from UCF with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations and then went on to pursue my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with a focus in Student Personnel. While employed at UCF, I’ve worked with Academic Services for Student Athletes and as an Academic Advisor in First Year Advising and Exploration. I grew up in the Tampa Bay area, and as an adult have spent most of the last decade living in Montreal, Quebec, and Austin, Texas. I’m thrilled to be back at UCF, supporting our students.
