I am thrilled to be working with the office of Academic Advocacy at UCF to help students achieve academic excellence! As an advocate, I am here to answer any questions that our students have on their journey through this university and connect them with the resources that they need to be successful and persist to graduation and beyond. Because I am a first-generation college student, I believe I am well prepared to understand the challenges that our students face when acclimating to the world of higher education and getting the help that they need.
My previous experience includes working in an academic advisor role with Daytona State College to assist transfer students in obtaining their bachelor’s degrees through fantastic opportunities like DirectConnect to UCF, as well as many others. I began my undergraduate education with DSC’s Quanta-Honors college, and later transferred to Stetson University where I completed my bachelor’s degree in English. I am currently pursuing my MA in English with a concentration in Technical Communication here at UCF.
