The Student Academic Resource Center (SARC), Multicultural Academic Support Services (MASS) and the Knights Major Exploration and Transition Center (KMETC) coordinate the summer Access Program.  This program annually reports a retention rate of 97-100% retention. It provides a selected group of students an opportunity to begin their college careers during the summer B term and to assist them in their transition to college life.  Access students are enrolled in two (2) summer B courses (one General Education course and SLS 1501) and are provided academic and personal support during this summer term.  Access students follow a prescribed weekly schedule that includes supplemental instruction and peer coaching support.  Access students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor in their assigned college during the six-week semester.

Access students will attend an orientation program on June 15 and begin their college careers on Monday, June 28, 2021.  The Access Team is expecting approximately 275 students to participate in the program.
