On August 24th, after a hiatus in 2020 and 2021, the highly anticipated UCF Welcome Expo returned during Pegasus Palooza with great success. Hosted by the Knights Major Exploration and Transition Center (KMETC), the expo welcomed over 1,000 students to the UCF campus for the Fall 2022 semester. This premiere event serves as a one-stop shop that features numerous resources and services while reminding students to take advantage of all that UCF and the surrounding community has to offer.
Over 90 campus partners and local businesses met with new and returning students in the Pegasus Ballroom to provide valuable information, free food, prizes, and giveaways. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the revival of the UCF Welcome Expo is an encouraging reminder of our resilience and commitment to usher our new and returning students into a more traditional return to student life, while developing a sense of community as a UCF Knight.
