In 2015, I made the move from south Florida to Orlando to pursue my bachelor’s degree in psychology at UCF. During my time as an undergrad, I had the opportunity to work with different UCF departments such as ASSA, psychology advising and the UCF Foundation. After graduating, I continued my journey by working with UCF Global and the Online Connect Center while pursuing my master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Nova Southeastern University. Once I completed my master’s, I realized I was still drawn to roles in higher education. That’s when I found my specialization working with college of sciences students as part of the Academic Advocacy team. I absolutely love supporting students on their academic journey by pointing them in the right direction with UCF and community resources and making sure they have all the tools they need to succeed.
