The Retention Intervention Team, led by Data and Strategic Projects (DSP), completed 1,910 contact attempts with FTIC students who were not registered for fall 2020. Their summer campaign established a total of 731 contacts. After the fall term started, DSP collaborated with the Office of Student Financial Assistance to reach out to students in the 2019-2020 cohort who were dropped for non-payment. As of 9/28/20, the preliminary retention rate for the 2019-2020 FTIC (Summer-Fall, Full-Time) cohort is 92.1%- the highest in UCF history. Last year’s final FTIC retention rate was 91.5%.
