Undergraduate Research Positions Database
If you or your graduate student is looking for an undergraduate research assistant, you can post the opportunity to our Research Positions Database. Graduate students need faculty permission to post positions in the database, or they can post as part of the Knight Research Scholars Program. The database is password-protected so that only students who have been to a “How to: Get Started in Undergraduate Research” or met with an OUR Peer Advisor can access the contact information for each opportunity.
If you have a flier or other publicity to advertise your research group, please email them to our@ucf.edu and/or alison.hudson@ucf.edu, and we can feature them in OUR’s social media.
Summer Research Academy Site Visit
Each summer, the Office of Undergraduate Research hosts an three-day introduction to research course for about 100 undergraduates from all disciplines. One of the most popular parts of the course-event is the site visits to different research labs and groups, in which faculty get to talk directly to the students about the work that they are doing. This can be a great way to recruit interested undergraduate researchers.
