Request an Undergraduate Research Activity Report

Are you updating your portfolio? We can provide a report of all of your tracked undergraduate research activities (e.g. 4912, chairing an Honors thesis, EXCEL, or RAMP). These reports begin with the 2009-2010 academic year and can be updated annually in the Fall semester.

Email our@ucf.edu to request a copy of your mentorship activity report. Please be sure to include your UCFID (also known as EMPLID) in your request.

Get Involved

Connect with other faculty and staff who work with undergraduate researchers. Share your experiences by serving on our faculty council, or attending a statewide or national conference.

The Undergraduate Research Council meets to discuss and promote the involvement of undergraduates in the ongoing activities of the UCF research community.  At UCF, sponsored undergraduate research takes place under the direction of a faculty mentor, offering students exposure to the research lifestyle of graduate students and professional researchers in the disciplines of the hard sciences, social sciences, humanities, and fine arts. This intensive research opportunity enhances the undergraduate academic experience at UCF and challenges students to strengthen their critical, analytical, creative, and writing skills. You can find a list of the URC members here.

CUR, founded in 1978, is a multidisciplinary organization of more than 10,000 members representing more than 700 institutions. The mission of the Council on Undergraduate Research is to support and promote high-quality undergraduate student-faculty collaborative research and scholarship.

FURA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the understanding of research and creative activity across all disciplines. FURA promotes the creation of new undergraduate research opportunities and unites like-minded faculty and administrators across the state to support this high-impact educational practice.

UCF is an institutional member of FURA and participates in the organizations marquee events each year:

  • Florida Statewide Symposium on Undergraduate Research (for faculty and staff)
  • Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (for students)
  • Undergraduate Research Posters at the Capitol (for select students)

The Association also awards the FURA Faculty Mentor of the Year award each spring, and hosts ongoing professional development for faculty and staff.
