Hello fellow Knights! It’s your Academic Advocate, Jasmin A. Jones and I am thrilled to work with each of you on your journey to attaining your goals both personally and academically. I want to see students succeed and ultimately see you cross the finish line to graduation. Being a part of the first team of academic advocates at UCF is exciting and I cannot wait to work with all of you! My passion, dedication and commitment are always to empower and encourage students to maximize their potential, build on their self-confidence, and equip students with the tools, resources, academic and life skills necessary to navigate through the obstacles, challenges and barriers students often face in college.
As someone who was a first-generation college student, I understand the potential challenges students face when learning to navigate college life and I want to help eliminate those barriers for our students. I look forward to providing you with extra support and want you to know that I am rooting for you and will be in your corner, championing your growth and success.
