I am absolutely delighted to join the Office of Academic Advocacy and support the Peer Advocates within the office. The Peer Advocates provide a unique opportunity for students to engage with another student while still overcoming challenges and facing barriers and obstacles with another current student. Part of the work of the Academic Advocates is to ensure every student can turn their aspirations into achievements and empower every student to thrive. I hope to help every student Unleash Their Potential!
I am a 2x, soon to be 3x graduate of UCF. I transferred from community college in Iowa and earned my B.S. in Event Management in 2019. I completed my M.A. in Educational Leadership: Higher Education/Student Personnel in 2021 where I was a Graduate Assistant for the First Year Advising and Exploration team and the inaugural year of the PeerKnights Coaching program. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership: Higher Education. I have been working at UCF professionally since June 2022 and started off with the PeerKnights Coaching program. Prior to working at UCF, I worked at the University of Florida and Valencia College.
