The Documenting and Triaging Cultural Heritage (DATCH) project is looking for two students to help build a novel state-of-the-art field assessment and documentation for cultural heritage.
This student will integrate Computer vision (CV) and AI into the HoloLens 2 Augmented Reality (AR) devices to help with these field tasks.

Student Responsibilities
Will work with a team of interdisciplinary researchers to integrate OpenCV into the HoloLens 2 to enable the creation of new scaled drawings using gestures, even in field situations with no network connections. Meet with the team regular to brief progress. And develop and foster industry needed skills in AI/ML and AR/VR.

Some background in programming. CV, AI, ML, or VR/AR experience is a plus.
