Our lab is currently working on several research projects related to infrastructure disruptions and evacuation during hurricanes. In this position, you will work in a collaborative team to gather and analyze large-scale data from social media platforms (e.g., Twitter) and infrastructure systems (e.g., transportation) during recent hurricanes. You will learn cutting edge data science methods and gain valuable experience from working on fundamental research problems with real-world impacts.
