Undergraduate research assistant - Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences


The Azarian Lab at the University of Central Florida Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences if recruiting for an undergraduate research assistant to assist in a literature review and extraction of metadata from publications related to the genomic epidemiology of Staphylococcus aureus. Students will also have exposure to laboratory methods for generating viral and bacterial sequencing data as well as computational methods to analyze those data.

Student Requirements

Students should at the least have knowledge of Excel or Access. Familiarity with a coding language such a R would be ideal for data management. Students should also be familiar with searching for and reviewing scientific papers.
