Undergraduate Research Assistant - Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering


-Looking for an individual who has interest in flexible, wearable and/or disposable sensor device design and fabrication. Will work with a graduate student to learn how the sensors are made for environmental monitoring. Also will work on a remediation device made by the similar fabrication process.
-Also looking for another student who has programming knowledge to make a sensor interface for data collection and validation.

Student Responsibilities

-Use a set of equipment to fabricate devices - printing, depositing, and cleaning processes. -Test the devices and obtain characterization data. -Run analysis, validate and troubleshoot. -Attend weekly meetings and update the research progress. -Draft a report.

Student Requirements

-Junior standing in Engineering or other related STEM field preferred -Strong work ethic -Must be able to work independently and also under supervision -Minimum GPA 3.0 -Good foundation knowledge in math, chemistry and physics
